Our Mission
Himilo Youth is dedicated to creating positive change in Somali communities through education, healthcare, and sustainable development programs. We believe in the power of youth to transform society.
Since our establishment, we have worked tirelessly to empower young people with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
Our approach combines grassroots engagement with strategic partnerships to maximize our impact and create lasting change.
Our Vision
Our vision To see a generation of Somali youth who love their country, embrace their civic responsibilities, and actively participate in building a peaceful, united, and prosperous Somalia.
Our Core Activities
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
We help young people gain skills, confidence, and leadership through training, mentorship, and workshops so they can build a better future for themselves.
RESEARCH AND FORUMS
We do basic studies and organize discussions to better understand youth challenges and share ideas that can lead to better solutions and support.
COMMUNITY AWARENESS
We raise awareness on issues like health, peace, drugs, rights, and safety. We do this through public events, campaigns, and school outreach to educate and inspire communities.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
We protect nature through activities like tree planting, waste cleanup, and community education about climate change and green living.
SPORTS AND CULTURE
We bring youth together through sports, events, and cultural activities to build peace, unity, and respect among different groups.
